Workers' Compensation is a benefit that is available to nearly all employees who suffer an injury that arose out of and in the course of their employment. We represent employees who are injured on the job in claims for lost wages and medical treatment expenses against private industry, state and local government employers and their workers' compensation insurers.

Our firm has represented members of numerous unions throughout Michigan, including UAW Locals 5960, 9699, 771, 594, 400, 160, 228, 247, 653, 869, 7777, 909, and 36; UFCW Local 876; and UWVA 105.

Our substantial experience allows us to be particularly effective in representing clients in serious work-related claims. One of our attorneys is a former Workers' Compensation Magistrate, so we have the benefit of experience from the judicial perspective.

Work-related injuries typically covered by workers' compensation include:

  • Neck, back, and knee injuries

  • Carpal tunnel/repetitive trauma injuries

  • Hearing problems

  • Work-related emotional problems

  • Work-induced heart attack or stroke

  • Occupational diseases such as asbestosis and dermatitis

  • Asthma or other work related pulmonary conditions

  • Loss of use of limbs

  • Eye injuries
